Seeds of Community
Mongolians across the Greater Toronto Area begin organizing discussions about forming a unified community association.
Official Incorporation
The Mongolian Association of Toronto is officially registered as an Ontario Not-For-Profit Corporation. Business Number: 75552 5219.
First Board Elected
The founding Board of Directors is elected, establishing governance and leadership for the association.
Naadam Festival
Over 300 Mongolians gather at Bruce Mills Conservation Park for the inaugural Naadam celebration featuring traditional sports and cultural activities.
Growing Together
Membership grows to 236 members. Six major cultural events organized, Mongolian language school reactivated, and consular services partnership established.
Expanding Horizons
Programs expand with new community partnerships, youth sports initiatives, and continued cultural celebrations strengthening bonds across the diaspora.
